01 · THE INSPECTION

What We Found

On February 20, 2026, our inspector walked this roof and documented the damage slope by slope. Hail had left its mark on more than the shingles: the metal roof vents were dented, a clear sign of how hard the stones hit.

On the shingles themselves, years of weather and the storm had stripped away much of the protective granule layer, and some tabs were missing entirely, leaving nail heads exposed. Without those granules, asphalt shingles break down quickly under Colorado's intense sun and freeze-thaw cycles.

Documenting It for Insurance

Every photo from the inspection is time-stamped and tied to this address, which gives the adjuster a clear record of the damage instead of a he-said, she-said.

03 · THE INSTALL

Down to the Deck

In July 2026, our crew replaced this roof from the decking up. Before the first shingle came off, they protected the home and yard, because a tear-off sends a lot of old roofing material toward the ground.

How we protected the property:

  • Garage: Covered with a heavy tarp to shield the door and siding from falling debris.
  • Entry and walkways: Tarped so old shingles and nails landed on the tarp, not the concrete.
  • Landscaping: Flower beds and retaining walls covered to keep debris out of the plants.

With the old roof stripped away, the crew could inspect the bare decking before installing the new underlayment and architectural shingles.

04 · THE RESULT

A Roof Built for Front Range Hail

The finished roof has clean, straight shingle lines through the valleys, a fresh ridge cap, and new vents, all places where workmanship is easiest to judge. From the decking up, every layer is new.
